Transitioning to Women's Outpatient Therapy
Outpatient therapy is for adults who require individual therapy or counseling one or more times per week. In contrast to partial and IOP treatment, the only treatment format provided is one-on-one therapy. When an adult has successfully graduated from an Intensive Outpatient (IOP) program, Outpatient treatment (OP) is the natural final step in the treatment process.
What is Outpatient Therapy (OP)?
Outpatient Therapy is a flexible, individualized form of mental health care designed to support women as they reintegrate into daily responsibilities—whether that’s work, school, family, or social life. Unlike higher levels of care, outpatient therapy does not include group sessions, psychiatric oversight, or medical monitoring. Instead, it focuses on consistent, personalized sessions with a licensed therapist who helps the individual build on the progress made during IOP or PHP treatment.
This approach is ideal for managing long-term conditions such as anxiety, depression, trauma, or life transitions. By continuing therapy in a lower-intensity format, women are empowered to maintain mental wellness and stay on track with their recovery goals in a supportive, non-disruptive way.
